Bulk Haulage. |
AgricultureWe are heavily involved in the haulage of most agricultural products. We haul for all the major Agricultural Merchants such as Openfield, Frontier, Glencore, Gleadell and many more. These products can be taken to the docks for export in areas such as Avonmouth, Portbury, Southampton and Tilbury or direct to mills in any part of the country. We also deliver raw materials to both farms, who mix their own product, and to mills. Two large customers of ours in Wales are Wynnstay, with their two mills, one in Carmarthen and the other in Llansantffraid Ym Mechain, and ForFarmers who also have a mill in Carmarthen. We also work directly for farmers and deliver their products such as Carrots, Potatoes and Apples to various points in the country.
AccreditationsWe work hard to maintain FORS and TASCC assured. We undergo annual audits and our daily tasks must meet certain standards. We are currently FORS bronze but are working towards the silver. You can access our certifications by clicking the links on either logo. We are also members if the RHA which is the trade body for our industry.

AggregateAs a company we have always specialised in the haulage of aggregate materials and this is still a very important aspect of our business. We distribute materials to many destinations throughout the country from various quarries including the two local quarries in Builth wells and Kington. Our oldest customer is the quarry in Builth Wells which we have hauled out from since the 1950’s. In addition to our agriculture and aggregate we also carry bark and coal.

The Fleet
We currently have a fleet of 38 lorries consisting of four eight wheelers in Hanson livery, 3 artic in Hanson livery and 3 artic in Tarmac livery. The fleet is made up of Scania's, Volvos and DAFs. The colour has changed a few times over years but we recently updated the liver with a new bright and bold blue accent on the silver lorries. We take pride in our trucks, they are kept as clean and as tidy as possible. Our driver also take great care of their lorries, with many adding mats, lights curtains and even extra light bars. We go to a few truck shows a year and we always like to think the fleet looks tremendous.
